Love this little bunny and all of its embroidered detail! The look of hand embroidery is so much more heart warming:)
Today is my first day blogging, with many more to come. My intention is to give a little sneak peak into me and the process behind my creations.
After being laid off in November of ‘09 (blessing!) from a full time design position for a large company, and lets be honest, a couple of months just to myself, I have been working full time on my craft. Which these days is mostly knitting and crochet.
It all started with a little bit of time and a whole lot of buttons:) I started an Etsy shop “for fun” listing my cute and original button earrings. Which still today remain my best sellers!

With a bit more confidence and some consistent sales I began listing some of my knitted and crocheted items like Cup Cozys and Button Cuffs.

And this is what I hope to build into a successful line of fun, colorful, and funky knit accessories to include Button up Neckwarmers, Cowls, and Shawls.
I am currently bringing the focus of my shop to natural fibers with a rich background. I recently found a super soft 100% merino wool that has been hand dyed by a woman’s co-op in Uruguay in the most incredible colorways! I have just finished some really beautiful mobius cowls in this new gorgeous yarn and will be listing them this week, but for now here’s a little sneak peak below…
